Sandra Kannacher specializes in resolving complex commercial disputes. A particular focus of her practice lies at the intersection of corporate, liability, and D&O law, where she brings extensive experience in providing advice on directors’ and officers’ liability as well as in managing large-scale class action litigation—particularly in product liability cases.
Before joining FREUND | RÜLL | PARTNER as a Salary Partner in March 2026, she spent a total of eight years in the dispute resolution practice of a leading major international law firm, most recently in the position of Counsel.
- Corporate & Commercial Litigation: Comprehensive representation in complex commercial disputes and corporate law disputes.
- Liability Law (D&O & Professional Liability): Specialized expertise in directors’ and officers’ liability as well as in defending against professional liability claims (lawyers, tax advisors).
- Class Action & Collective Redress: Strategic management of large-scale proceedings in consumer and product liability law; extensive experience with class actions (actions for injunctive relief and model declaratory actions).
- Data Protection Litigation: Enforcement and defense against claims for damages arising from data protection violations.
- Legal Tech: Use of digital tools for the efficient handling of complex (mass) proceedings and for process optimization.
- Alternative Dispute Resolution: Conflict resolution through mediation (certified business mediator).

- 2018 – 2026: Worked for several years as a lawyer (most recently as Counsel) in the dispute resolution practice of a leading international major law firm.
- 2018: Admitted to the bar.
- Education: Studied law at the University of Freiburg in Breisgau and at the Université Paris-Est Créteil (France).
